Bayou La Batre, Alabama

Municipal Communications, one of the leading tower developers in the United States, is proud to announce the completion of a new wireless tower on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Municipal built the 300’ self-support tower north of Bayou La Batre in Mobile County, an area made famous by the movie Forrest Gump. Capable of handling six antenna arrays, the tower will significantly improve coverage and capacity as the city continues to grow northward.

Municipal’s CEO Peter Corry stated: “We take a lot of pride in completing these projects safely and on time. Like all of our projects, construction of this tower was finished without disrupting commercial activity in the area. Our expert team makes projects like these look easy but they are anything but. It is a real testament to the professionalism of our engineers and crews that they are able to put all this steel in the air as quickly and as safely as they did. The reliable, enhanced communications that this tower enables is going to facilitate healthy growth for this zip code for many years to come.”
