Municipal Communications recently stacked a 150’ monopole in Metro-Detroit. It is 750’ south of I-696, which has an average daily traffic count of 156,000. After finding the most suitable location for the tower in the search area, we approached The City of Warren to find a solution to their setback requirements, which no parcel in the search area could comply with. Through our discussions it was decided that they would amend the setback requirements to be less restrictive, which allowed us to build this tower in this commercial area.
